REHABILITATION OF INTERNAL PIPES IN BUILDINGS
Simulation of the inversion process - the liner used in this process has a very high flexibility to perfectly follow multiple curves of the pipe.
Air inversion of the liner impregnated with an epoxy ambient curing resin, for the rehabilitation of a vertical stormwater pipe.

What I did: I made the detailed design and project management of the rehabilitation, by UV-CIPP, of air-conditioning pipes DN350, laid under runways, at the international airport of Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci (Rome, Italy).

Preparing the access to the host pipe.

Insertion of the liner into the host pipe.

The UV light core used to polymerize the foto-polymerizing resin.
Inserting the UV light core into the liner.
Inflating the liner before starting the UV polymerization of the resin.

What I did: detailed design and project management of the replacement, by pipe bursting, of concrete sewer pipes DN200-400 (8-16 in) and of the rehabilitation by UV-CIPP of concrete sewer pipes DN 250, 400, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 mm (10, 16, 24, 28, 32, 36 and 40 in) for a total length of 2,5 km (1,6 miles) at the Florence American Cemetery of the WWII.
